Welcome to The Wiesbaden, where quiet luxury meets the restorative beauty of the San Juan Mountains. Our historic alpine retreat invites you to unwind in naturally flowing mineral hot springs rich in beneficial minerals and free from added chemicals. Overnight guests enjoy unlimited access to our geothermal hot springs and vapor cave, while day visitors may reserve two-hour hot spring soaks, the private Lorelei Hot Spring, and massage services. The Lorelei Hot Spring and massages require separate reservations for all guests.

Natural Hot Springs

Guests are invited to unwind in our signature 108-degree vapor cave, one of only two commercially operated vapor caves in the United States, or relax in our outdoor geothermal mineral hot spring pool. For a more secluded escape, the Lorelei—our private outdoor soaking pool with a cascading waterfall—offers an intimate setting designed for quiet restoration.

The Vapor Cave

In the mountainside just beneath The Wiesbaden’s main lodge is the Vapor Cave. The first chamber features a spring cascading over rock formations, while the main cave offers a soaking pool.

The Lorelei

The Lorelei is a secluded, private soaking pool heated to 100–105 degrees, available by reservation and our only clothing-optional hot spring experience on property, fully screened for privacy. It’s the perfect setting for a private escape.

Accommodations

The Wiesbaden offers a thoughtfully curated collection of accommodations designed for comfort and quiet retreat. Guests may choose from intimate guest rooms with two twin beds, or a double, queen, or king bed—each featuring a private full bathroom.

For those seeking additional space, the property also offers distinctive suites, a charming hillside cottage, a small historic house listed on the Historic Register, and a spacious three-bedroom, two-bath home perched above the property.

Fed by the continuously flowing waters of Wiesbaden’s natural mineral hot springs, the outdoor pool offers a soothing escape, with temperatures ranging from 100 to 106 degrees. Surrounded by mountain air and serene alpine views, it’s the perfect place to unwind and soak in nature.
